Rainy days with a baby are fun! It's the perfect excuse to stay inside and play all day. This morning Henry and I awoke to pouring rain and wind. So, instead of bundling up and facing the weather outside we decided to have an indoor play day! Last night Matt and I began the "child proofing" project. We ordered all kinds of heavy duty fancy gates and outlet covers. We took a trip to Babies R' Us and got a mat (as well as many other fun, irresistable items) for the kitchen floor so Henry can spend time rolling, crawling and moving around the kitchen while we cook, eat, hang out, etc.
If the rain lets up we'll head out to story hour at the library a little later...For now, we are cozy, listening to some music and enjoying this lazy, rainy day together. Not a bad life at all!!! Hope you are all enjoying the day as much as we are.

PS: We also got some very exciting news this morning...Auntie Lauren and Auntie Robin got engaged! We are so excited for them and can't wait for their special day..let the countdown begin!! Congrats to a wonderful couple!
