Continued pics from NY weekend
We had a really nice visit to New York last weekend and Henry got caught up on his kisses/hugs from his extended family! On Saturday morning Henry and I had coffee with my good friend Claire and spent some nice time with her. From there Henry and I headed into Manhattan where we met up with Grandma and Grandpa Welch and Matt. We had a lovely lunch in Grandma and Grandpa's sweet 34th floor (with unbelievable views!) apartment. Then the three of us headed out for a walk around the city and a visit to the Morgan House/Museum. Henry missed most of the museum due to his nap time, but he did enjoy a nice snack at Le Pain Quotidien with us. On Saturday night Papa Ernst came over and met us at the apartment and Grandma Welch made a fabulous pasta dinner for us all. We had many laughs and surprisingly Henry went down without a problem that night....which didn't last, but that's okay! On Sunday Aunt Robin and Lauren came over with Papa and Anastasia for a nice brunch. We had a very typical NY brunch with bagels and lox...yum! Henry was in seventh heaven with all of his family paying attention to him. He showed them his crawling and standing skills and showed off his one tooth! We made the long trek back to Maine later that day...it was a long ride back and Henry decided that he only wanted to sleep for an hour of it....so needless to say, we were all ready for an early bedtime that evening. All in all, it was a fabulous trip and we thank everyone for having us and paying such special attention to our Henry. Thanks!!!
PS More pics coming soon...they are on Matt's camera, so I have to wait for him to download those:)

Visit to Momo's Classroom
Henry and I made the trek down to Greenwich Connecticut yesterday. We left Portland at 8 am and Henry slept for 2 1/2 hours until we stopped for a snack/bathroom break at 10:30. We then got back in the car and Henry proceeded to sleep for the rest of the trip! So all in all he slept for the entire 4 1/2 hour trip! What a great traveling companion he is. When we got here we went to Momo's school to visit her classroom. The big kids absolutely loved Henry and Henry loved all their attention! Momo paraded him around RPNS and he went to about 10 different classrooms. He handled all the new people and stimulation very well! When we got back to Momo's she pulled out all kinds of new toys she got Henry for his visit...he loves the push cart! Henry is very interested in the dogs this time. He wants to hold Harper's paw and pull on Jackson's ears...it is too cute! The dogs are very gentle with him and quite patient. I think Harper will be somewhat happy when Henry leaves tomorrow! Henry slept great last night in his room here at Momo's house. The last several times we have travelled Henry has had a real difficult time settling down to sleep, so we are happy that he did well last night and he's already down for his morning nap as I write this. We are going to head to the Norwalk Maritime Center this morning for some aquarium fun and then out to lunch! I will make sure to post more pics as our adventures continue....for now enjoy some shots of Henry reading with Uncle, having dinner and playing at Momo's.

First Week of March....
Hello friends and family! Happy March!! We are really hoping March brings us more warmth, sunnier skies and some sign that spring is on its way. Can you detect that we've been going a little stir crazy with cabin fever??!! We had another very cold stretch last week so Henry and I spent a lot of quality time indoors playing with all of the toys we own and Henry spent a lot of time getting into just about everything and anything that a little baby can! Matt's birthday was on Thursday so Henry and I decorated the condo with streamers and tons of balloons (balloons were a huge hit for Henry!) and made a special birthday dinner and dessert. It was a fun night! On Friday night my friend Shelby came over to babysit Henry so Matt and I could go out on the town and celebrate his birthday...we hadn't been out and up past 9 in a LONG time...so it was about time! Over the weekend Henry and I went to his friend Szofia's 1st birthday party and I hosted my book club here at our house...so all in all a busy, but good weekend! Enjoy the pics below of Henry eating his tofu and peas, him bundled up for a cold winter's walk and the birthday card he and I made for Matt....hope you are all staying dry with all this rain and are looking forward to spring as much as we are!!!!
