Inn by the Sea

We've been visiting with Momo, Auntie Jill and Uncle Lars these last few days at the
beautiful Inn by the Sea in Cape Elizabeth. The weather has been absolutely spectacular
and we've really enjoyed our time by the pool and ocean. These are some nice shots we
took last night in the beautiful evening light. After we took the photos we enjoyed some
delicious s'mores by the campfire. It was a wonderful week and we are looking forward
to another week with everyone at Goose Rocks Beach!

My Papa is an IronMan!!!!!

Hanging out at the inn
I am a big boy in a very BIG bed!
I got to hang with Auntie all weekend, yah!

The Welch tribe took quite the road trip (9 hrs one way!) to Lake Placid, NY this past weekend to see Papa compete in the Ironman event. Papa swam 2.4 miles, biked 112 and ran 26.2...a total of 140.6 miles!!!! He was awesome and Henry LOVED cheering him on all day long. We even stayed out late to see Papa come across the finish line! While in Lake Placid we also swam in the hotel pool, ate lots of yummy meals and hung out by the beautiful Mirror Lake. It was a great weekend and to top it all off we stopped on our way home at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science to see bald eagles and several kinds of owls...it was really neat! Henry was a real trooper and he is quite the little road companion.

Ready to begin blogging

I've been thinking about starting a blog for some time now. Now that Henry has arrived I figured it was the perfect reason to begin. I intend to use this blog to keep all friends and family from near and far updated on our life here in Portland. Henry is growing so fast and changing so much each day that I hope to share this with you all. So, sit back and enjoy watching our little angel as he grows and explores in this crazy world of ours.

Peace.

Here are some recent photos of our little man:
